Rubber and Plastic Seals
Rubber and plastic seals are processed products based on polymer materials such as rubber and plastics, used for industrial sealing. They are mainly divided into two categories: static seals and dynamic seals. Common types include O-rings, dust rings, and rotary shaft seals.
O-rings: Circular elastic rings used for mechanical seals or gaskets, commonly found in hydraulic systems, valves, etc.
·Building sealing strips: Such as door and window sealing strips, curtain wall sealing gaskets, made of ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber, with strong weather resistance.
·Dust rings: Such as automotive half-shaft dust covers, made of nitrile rubber (NBR), oil-resistant and able to withstand high-speed rotation (2000 rpm).
·Rotary shaft seals: Used for sealing rotating parts, such as hydraulic cylinder guide rings, materials include fluororubber (FKM) or polyurethane. 12
Floating Seals: Suitable for complex operating conditions such as regenerative heat exchangers, with higher efficiency than ordinary seals.
V-Rings: All-rubber seals, directly mounted on the shaft for axial sealing.
Multi-Surface Seals: Suitable for high-pressure, high-temperature environments, such as hydraulic cylinder seals.
