The Application for Spring Seals
The universal seal (spring energy storage sealing ring) is a special sealing component developed for applications with high temperatures, severe corrosion, and difficult lubrication, featuring combinations of different fluoropolymer composites, engineering plastics, and corrosion-resistant metal springs. These combinations can fully meet the increasingly demanding diverse needs in industries such as food processing, medicine, petroleum, chemical machinery, valves, vacuum pumps, pressure vessels, hydraulic cylinders, aerospace equipment, etc. Typical applications include:
1. High-temperature sealing
Modern industrial oil cylinders often require high-temperature oil cylinder sealing in various areas, such as pressure casting oil cylinders, metallurgical oil cylinders, kiln oil cylinders, automotive engine seals, etc. The temperature can reach around 300°C.
2. Low-temperature sealing
Sealing for liquefied nitrogen, liquefied petroleum gas, liquefied carbon dioxide, and liquefied oxygen, with a low temperature of -200°C.
3. High-pressure sealing
Ultra-large-tonnage presses, high-pressure water cutting machines, air compressors, with a pressure up to 400 Mpa.
4. High-speed sealing
High-speed rotating shafts with a rotational speed of 30-40 meters per second; high-speed reciprocating oil cylinders with an extension speed of 15-20 meters per second.
5. Sealing for special working media
High-temperature water vapor, seawater, brake fluid, acids and bases, etc.
6. Low friction
Typical examples include servo oil cylinders.
7. Long-life sealing
Wind turbine pitch oil cylinders, building vibration reduction oil cylinders.
8. Large oil cylinder sealing
Lifting oil cylinders, sticker oil cylinders.
9. Hygienic sealing
Currently, many sealing applications in food and pharmaceutical contact have adopted universal seals.
10. Quick-response oil cylinder
The installation groove of the sealing component is small, and the structural components of the oil cylinder can be lighter, with less friction resistance, which can significantly improve the dynamic performance of the oil cylinder and produce better quick-response oil cylinders.
